The International Mediation Institute – IMI established the Young Mediators Initiative (YMI) in 2010, with the aim of encouraging and assisting young mediators and mediation advocates worldwide.
The mission and vision of YMI is:
To connect young trained mediators and mediationadvocates worldwide,
to create a platform to exchange ideas and experiences amongst each other, and
to facilitate interaction with experienced mediators who can offer experience-generation and learning opportunities.

Asia-Pacific Forum for International Arbitration (AFIA)

The Asia-Pacific Forum for International Arbitration (AFIA) currently has over 500 members from 45 countries. AFIA provides young arbitration practitioners with a forum to discuss issues and developments in international arbitration, with particular focus on Asia-Pacific.
AFIA provides an important opportunity for the forging of professional relationships amongst young practitioners across the Asia-Pacific region and globally. It also offers opportunities for its members to benefit from AFIA’s cooperation with similar organisations around the world.
Since its inception, AFIA has held 45 symposia in the Asia-Pacific region and around the world.
